Headquarters for Westerners International, known as the Home Ranch, is located in an office at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. We like people to know we have an "actual office" with desks, bookcases, storage closet, typewriter, file cabinets, computers, telephone, answering machine and Xerox machine because now and then a caller will just suddenly blurt out, "Is this an actual office or is this just the corner of someone's dining room?" It is an actual office in the basement at the hall. It is in a good location--close to the room with the coffee machine, microwave,

and cola and snack machines.  Right next door is a  meeting room with a large table, comfy chairs, and book shelves holding the WI library collection.

Most weeks out of the year there is someone in the office almost all day on Tuesdays and for awhile on Thursdays.  Usually there is Mary Marvel, who keeps the computer mail files up to date and the checkbook in order as assistant treasurer.

With Mary is Burnis Argo, who is the editor of the Buckskin Bulletin, composer of various forms, cards and other printed matter used by WI as well as answerer of letters and E-mails, except when she can talk Mary into doing it.

Joining the ladies is Kent McInnis, Chairman of the Board of Directors and, along with his wife Cheryl, cyberslinger for this website.

We all three make photocopies and answer the telephone. From time to time we are joined by local Westerners who come in to work on special projects that need doing around the office, and Don Reeves, WI secretary and taker of minutes at the executive and full board meetings, who sticks his head in the door at least once a week and asks to be fired. He is very, very busy as the museum curator of collections, but how much time could writing down minutes take?

If you can't catch us in the office, telephone us at (800) 541-4650.  Please leave your message on the answering machine and someone will call you back or take care of whatever it is you need us to do. You can also leave an e-mail message for the Home Ranch Bunch at
WIHomeRanch@aol.com.

Coming to Oklahoma City? Call and let us know and we will try to be sure someone is in the office on that day to "meet and greet" you, offer you a coffee, and show you around.
